Very typical large company work environment with poor leadership, high turnover, favoritism, too many ridiculous meetings, and blatant cronyism. If you are someone who takes pride in their work and expects to feel respected and valued for what you offer, look elsewhere. Management talks a lot about how great and different the work culture is here, but truly it is not.

This company has more process and red tape than a company 10x it's size. Great projects and initiatives usually result in a no. This is not because your plan isin't well thought out or documented with good data and compelling evidence. It's because Pure just "doesn't do it that way." This place is where great ideas go to die. So much operational overhead and managing up that it takes away from your day job and ability to contribute. Also, if your great at your job you will be bullied to stay in that role so you will keep doing great at that role. Promoting up from within happens on rare occasions. Bullying will happen at some point while you're there. You will get paid well but the unnecessary last minute project asks will keep you up at night. This place can be a sweatshop if you're in the wrong place.
