Cons

Waited a while to write the review. One of the worst experiences in my career. This is coming from working in 2 fortune 50 companies with toxic atmospheres and a cut throat culture. I won’t repeat the cons listed in other reviews those are right on the mark. 1. I was reminded by multiple managers that I was not European and normally wouldn’t hire someone not European in my position. Bruh, I’m a black Hispanic. Think about that. 2. After I was hired I was interviewed an additional two times before my start date and at least once a week til my last week. 3. I was told I was paid a large salary and should be happy. I was 25k underpaid being paid as a supervisor not a senior manager, when compared with local salaries. I didn’t complain since I was transitioning to a different setting and was informed initially there would be opportunities. 4. I was informed that I would not be promoted multiple times just because I was not European, reason I finally left. In addition they didn’t see how anyone from my location would be promoted, one manager was saying this while completing a recommendation letter to bring someone from his native country and asking why so many minorities in the area. Keep in mind this being communicated by multiple Caucasian managers to a minority manager and population of 75% or more minority Americans. 5. While sitting in office and being told I accomplish nothing in 6 weeks of employment the manager stating this was using a database I created. Literally using the database for the information I collected and after communicating that another manager is pursing an idea I communicated, toxic. 6. When I began it was chaos. had employees sleeping in closets, behind desks, missing, working remote jobs, using illegal substances onsite ( federally illegal) plus more. I came in put a stop to the above and began making the tough choice of weeding through the bad seeds. An employee paid a compliment at the town hall meeting about the changes and new management with only 4 days in the states took all the credit. A group of employees mouths just dropped while they gleamed with pride. 7. Saw a manager completely manipulate a supervisor. Supervisors nose was so brown not sure they realized what was happening, but the manger knew. 8. Complete chaos. 9. If a Caucasian person questions the diversity of the company and quits is that something to be concerned about? This has happened in multiple locations. 10. The diversity issue is a worldwide issue for the company as communicated to me by others.

Pros

Nothing at all compelling to praise

Cons

Pay is well below market (and leadership know it); poor leadership; no opportunity for career development; no direction; leadership in Sweden and Malta do not understand business in the US
