Big company problems, politics and cronies

Pros

Product is good when it works and great pre-Forescout people still trying to right the “rocket ship”. A lot of the people from the previous culture care very much about seeing this thing through to IPO.

Cons

Company shifted with new ceo to poor culture, fear-based leadership, temper tantrums by executives became the norm, excuses given by upper management for the behavior of the executives since executives surrounded by yes people. Executives demand answers but if the data and conclusions presented does not give them the answers they want, they will find someone who sees things their way instead, ignoring the issue. HR has turned over multiples times without any improvement to growth paths, severance pay, Salary under industry standards for most positions with empty promises for years to fix, no 401k matching, and with each new exec bringing in their cronies, favoritism all over. No work life balance. CEO shared on all hands that no layoffs coming, then executed a company wide layoff a couple weeks later…

Hello, I know it seems as though HR has turned over multiple times, but our HR team is rather small (considering how big the company has grown). When there is one departure it does make an impact. The team is aware of this and working towards growing the team appropriately. As far as growth plans, if you were able to attend one of our recent employee sessions, we announced career pathing. This is a long process that requires partnership from execs and managers to complete. Our goal is to expedite this project. Once that is complete, we will discuss and strategize what additional training programs for individual growth plans look like. Our Comp team does assess the market and I can assure you our compensation bands are highly competitive and well within industry standards.

No 401 k matching as of yet Product is still having growing pains so there is a lot to stay on top of
