Pros
I love working at Exabeam and thoroughly enjoy my job. This company truly cares for your well-being and personal growth. This is in part of their awesome leadership, starting all the way at the top with the CEO (a big part of why I chose to work here). I have seen the company through its hyper growth, and the leadership and values have remained the same. I am big on leadership, communication, transparency and how it trickles down in a company. I interviewed when the company was much smaller, but it was a great experience and I felt every person I spoke with was genuine (another reason why I chose to work here).
They want to see you grow, not only in your career, but personal life as well. I cannot stress how important this is for me, because a company who cares about your growth, is invested in you. I have taken professional development classes (recommended to me personally by my boss), and we have check-in's on my progress. I may not know exactly what path I am going, but I know that Exabeam provides ample amount of opportunities to grow and better myself.
For a start-up tech company, it has pretty competitive salary and benefits. There is free (& healthy) lunch every Wednesday, happy hours, donuts every Friday and plenty of snacks and drinks for all tastebuds. I love that they also incorporate healthy snack and lunch choices! This company also gives back through annual volunteer events in the community. There are also several themed company events throughout the year and it is always a good time! It truly gives everyone a chance to connect outside of their departments and hang out with other employees and learn what they do. Last but not least, this company is diverse and continuing to make efforts to stay diverse! You will truly be able to connect with the people here on all different levels.
The culture at Exabeam is also top-notch. Culture at Exabeam is a big deal and I truly feel we work hard and play hard. Work/life balance is evident. The CEO, as well as other exec staff have an open-door policy, and I’ve always felt comfortable voicing my concerns and/or asking questions. Management is also willing to listen, just make sure you have your ducks lined up because there are extremely smart people working here. My co-workers are all extremely helpful and willing to do what it takes to get the job done. This is has also become a place of learning for me. If I run into a problem or am unsure about something, I know I can ask my question without feeling judged. Communication, like with any company, is always an on-going issue, but it is evident leadership is taking every step to make improvements.
Exec staff preaches no ego, and they live by this. People here are willing to admit when they are wrong, and will work with you to try and fix it. Everyone has disagreements and their own ways to finding a solution, but this company makes an effort to really understand how and where we went wrong. I love this about the company.
Cons
This is a start-up. Hours can sometimes be long, but the payoff is so worth it.
Hyper-growth company with the “normal” growing pains (running out of office space, breaks in communication etc.).
We move at an extremely fast pace, and that does not work for everyone.
