      Wonderful teams, deeply disconnected leadership

      Dedicated staff, inspiring mission statement.

      Cons

      Disconnected leadership. Many nonsensical, expensive initiatives, for which the best-informed internal stakeholders are seldom consulted. A strictly top-down management structure that creates frustration and a sense of futility (and subsequent high turn-over) at the middle management and staff levels.

      The benefits are cheap and competitive.

      Cons

      Culture can be likened to that of a clique type atmosphere. Agendas and alliances are given more time than deserved while mediocrity is rewarded continuously.

      Long hours, pay is decent for a non profit, but still a non profit pay scale
