Pros

Everyone cares about their work and people want to get things done. Its hard to find this level of passion. There are many opportunities to progress in your career and management loves to hear about ideas that will help to provide a better service to students.

Cons

Like nearly all non-profits the pay may be relatively low compared to for-profit companies, but they pay highly compared to other non-profits.

If you don't like change...

Pros

It's pretty simple. If you want the old way, you are going to have a tough time here. Yes, there has been a lot of change in leadership, in direction, in organizational structure, and strategic focus, but that is what it takes to become a "Great" organization versus just a "Good" one. Individuals who write bad reviews here are more likely the ones who were comfortable with the old way. However the truth is that the world has changed around the old organization and we don't want to be the Kodak of higher education. Working here has been fast paced, challenging, exciting, and positive. Is everyday stress free? Not at all. But why would you want to settle for anything less than innovation and future proofing?

Cons

The fast pace can feel chaotic at times and sometimes we need to take a breather. It is way to easy to have year by year go by and forget to even try to schedule time off. We sometimes bite off more than we can chew, but ultimately get things done via sheer will of highly dedicated team members.
