Not worth the pay anymore

Pros

Remote, flexible as far as logging in on my schedule.

Cons

They cut the pay 5 years ago and no signs of increasing it again even with cost of living being outrageous. We also have to do a weekly checklist, video, and several outreach efforts to our students who are adult learners but we don't treat them that way.

Classic Toxic Culture

Recommend
CEO approval
Business Outlook

Pros

Still provides a paycheck (at least for now as it enters the unsustainability phase - its death spiral)

Cons

Disrespectful, noninclusive, unethical, cutthroat, and abusive all driven, inspired, and supported from the very top. Anyone on the inside will be able to describe at least one recent incident that meets the definition for each of these words. Anyone considering associating with Excelsior should strongly evaluate your needs over the reality of how things work here. Pros

It's a standard faculty job so I know how to do it without guidance. Good thing as the "training" is so poor and those doing the training are rude and clearly don't serve the mission and values that are preached in the videos.

Cons

I am pretty new but so far not impressed. The HR and faculty onboarding, as well as leadership is pretty toxic already. If this is a glimpse into this company, oh boy. I'm about to have an acid bath.
