Pros

The WLB is good and pay is decent. Nothing to write home about. If in the right team or org, work can be fun and plenty of opportunity to learn

Cons

Career progression and job satisfaction is low. Churn is pretty high especially with high talent employees. Combined with frequent layoffs and reorgs, long term vision is non-existent.

Pros

+ Very good working environment + Great networking opportunities + Chance to learn a lot from peers and seniors + Many good benefits

Cons

- Salary is ok factoring in the quarterly bonus, but definitely on the lower end of similar positions - Personal growth very bound to your network; unless you have someone sponsoring you, forget about any substantial career progression - Semi-rigid work-life balance, 3 mandatory office days and very limited aborad-working allowance, both things that until the beginning of this year where much more lenient. Add to that that the standard working day ends at 6pm which is an outlier in Prague's job market and not the common rule

Pros

-Great travel benefits and decent other benefits -Young and fun environment -Great employee programs -Middle management in recruiting was great

Cons

-As a recruiter, it was very hard to compete with external offers because Expedia's pay is not competitive -Upper management was constantly changing -Recruiting was constantly under thread of layoffs
