Pros

Good benefits Competitive salary Nice & kind colleagues

Cons

Lack of transparency - management is pretending to not have many information to share when there’s big news coming, especially the bad ones. Volatile - employees can be laid off anytime, especially the new joiners. They can even use unreasonable reasons and not accepting your explanation.

Pros

The benefits of this company is good as it has sales bonus for every quarter. And overachieving it is easy if you follow the guidelines. Incentives & insurance coverage are superb. We have more than RM4000/year as incentive to claim anything you want.

Cons

The position of “Partner Growth & Agility Associate” does not only do account management. But it involves a lot of cold calls to the hotel partners everyday. There is a target of 10-11 per calls daily to different hotel partners & is usually to ask for promotions & deals. No designated profiles per account manager. It is a pool of accounts to share among all the associates. It is stressful & not worth of it for these kind of daily targets. If you cannot hit it, you might not get your bonus by the end of the quarter.

Pros

Nice office, good travel discount and overall company benefits.

Cons

After only one year as a Localization Specialist, I was asked to step in for my manager who was going on maternity leave for a year. Initially, I was promised a salary increase for all the extra responsibilities and new skills needed for the role as a Quality Manager. However, I was told only a couple of days later that they decided to not give me any salary increase, as "the rules had changed after the pandemic". This was never communicated to the team to begin with. I expressed my disappointment around this and was then “guaranteed” a compensation in the salary review the following year. This compensation never happened; despite all the positive feedback I had received from the other Quality Managers in my team. Shortly after this, I realised that my hard work was never going to pay off in this company, and I therefore decided to leave EG after nearly 3 years.
