Advanced, but not leading, data and product practices.

Cons

Long highly opinionated and overly involved leadership chains slow innovation and erodes ownership of key goals. Being visible is more rewarded than delivering. Cyclical layoffs are highly disruptive. Leadership expects large-scale cultural pivots to bubble up and doesn't own them.

Flexible schedule, nice offices, not great but at least decent pay

Cons

The company, or at least my dept, seems to have a bean counter approach with many things. Some uneven pay (some getting higher rate for similar position). Feels I'm just a number and completely replaceable. Although this is true in many large corporations, it would be nice if more genuine effort was put into making you feel more appreciated. Just me perhaps, but don't feel I really fit culture wise.
