Pros

Possibility to learn from enterprise architectures, many technologies and tools used. Great company culture, inclusion and attention to employees. Very good wages that every 1-2 years are aligned with the market. Possibility of career and/or lateral movements in different roles.

Cons

It's a too big company therefore the change is slow and, since they want to change often, the result is continuous migration projects. You learn something and after 6 months things are changed and your knowledge is not more useful. Some decisions from product department are hard to understand: most of times they don't fix production bugs because priorities are somewhere else.

Pros

Expedia is a truly international company and it remunerates its employees well

Cons

Most of the employees have been in the company for 10+ years. Whilst this is a plus as it means there is a high degree of loyalty, the company could definitely benefit from some fresh ideas.
