Expeditors reviews

Expeditors is extremely inconsistent among teams. Some teams are amazing and others will make you want to quit. In a 3 year span I had 4 different supervisors, one of which made me want to quit. Compensation to start is nothing special for an Analyst position in Seattle, but does ramp up in a few years. If you don't have a good supervisor/manager that believes in your skills, you will most likely find very little career direction. Some teams hoard knowledge and there is a huge skill gap between associate analysts and level II and III. Some teams have very little trust of new employees and only give them a few chances to succeed before giving up. There is not a lot of opportunities for lateral moves. Once you have a specific role, hiring managers are very reluctant to hire from within. There is a stigma that when you want to experience a new role/change of pace that 'you're only looking at 'new position' because you're trying to get out of 'current position'. This is extremely frustrating and will drive people away.

Too much favoritism. Way too many family members working with and for each other. If you're not in the clique, or hired direct as a manager, you're probably not going to do well.
