Pros

The company promotes learning and innovation. It values driven, smart employees and chooses to promote from within for the most part. There is a great year-long management trainee program for the right people.

Cons

You would really have to screw up big time to get fired, so there are some disgruntled, unappreciative employees who can bring the morale of others down. There is a ton of work, at least in NY, so there is a lot of overtime involved, which can be viewed as good and bad. Most get paid for the overtime, but sometimes, you don't want the money, you just want to go home...

Pros

* Great benefits package * Pretty much only work 40 hours a week * Interesting technical problems * Great people * If you do a good job, they will recognize it * Sounds silly, but very comfortable chairs and clean office * I don't dread coming to work * Management is easy to talk with

Cons

* Pay could be better * Vacation policy is horrible * Bureaucratic at times * Not a big deal, but could do without the neck ties
