Pros
My time at Expeditors was okay but, for the most part it the worst job I've ever had. As a minority, I felt like an outcast and treated differently because I didn't look and act like everybody else. Pros: Great entry level position for people just out of college. Benefits are great Met some really great people and still talk to a few to this day. Improve your interpersonal skills for future jobs
Cons
Culture: Very click like environment. You'll gather who is apart of the click and who isn't the first week or so there. If you want to advance with the company, become apart of the click if that's your thing. If you're not apart of the click, you'll soon start to get picked or they'll isolate you. One manager even stopped talking to me and pretended I didn't exist. The good people don't last long here. Pay: Some of the lowest I've seen and you can forget about an annual raise. You"ll also won't be paid more if you have a degree (including advanced degrees). Lack of annual performance review: even if you request one, you'll most like will not receive one. Lack of maternity/paternal leave: you use FMLA and that's it. Sick/Vacation Time: You'll be scruntized if you take off too much time. Also, expect no one to cover your desk while you're out. You won't get Christmas Eve, the day after Thanksgiving, the day after Christmas, and New Year's Eve off. You'll have to take vacation days.
