Pros

Great benefits; good management in my department; the company rewards performance and loyalty. As someone in the trenches, i feel my managers go in to bat for me, both on technical and personal issues. I have been able to achieve good work/family balance which was very much appreciated when i was a new parent. You're not expected to work 60+ hour weeks, which i did in my 20s, but don't really care to now. Work schedules are slowly becoming more flexible.

Cons

Yes, the environment isn't for everyone; dress code will put off many tekkie types. Being on call 24/7 for application support is an incentive to create a good system!

medical benefits, orca card, fairly set work schedule

Cons

- there's too much to mention. - rigid culture, managers/supervisors/leads are all intimidated by motivated employees who seek to improve their skills by engaging in activities that do so outside of work, management only supporting their favorites. - good old boys club. - From personal experience: once in a conference call a supervisor told me when to speak and what to say. The supervisor also wanted to screen all email communication before sending off to the clients. In addition this same supervisor wanted all subordinates to to record even the amount of time they spent going to the bathroom (this is FOR REAL) .

Great support from management. A real focus on quality, you won't compromise your code because it's getting rushed out the door.

Cons

Dress code (ties for men) Pay is not particularly impressive for Seattle Only 10 days of vacation for first three years.
