Pros

Experian is a strong and stable company for work for.

Cons

They selectively rid themselves of people who are in their late 50's early 60's. They feel that you are no longer useful once you reach a certain age.

Pros

Great volunteer opportunities, decent health benefits and time off

Cons

If you are a new IT professional this is a good company to start off. But if you are looking for moving up the corporate ladder say bye bye. You will be stuck in the same role forever and see incompetent colleagues who suck up to mgmt move up. Personally seen targeted racism against an employee. The person merely got a slap on their wrist and is happily moving up the corporate ladder.

Thank you for taking the time to provide a review. We are sorry to read that your experience at Experian has not met your professional growth expectations. Experian has broadened our L&D proposition; offering a variety of amazing resources to create bespoke development plans and exciting career pathways. Our global Glassdoor Career Opportunities rating is 4.1 stars, significantly above the average of 3.3, something we're proud of but certainly not sitting back thinking we're done yet. Our flagship Careers Hub is the backbone of this and I can certainly advocate exploring this great resource. Experian is a safe and inclusive place for all employees, so we invite you to reach out to us to discuss your circumstances further and channel your concerns/feedback to leaders and HR.

Thanks for the review. Wow, more than 9 years, we appreciate you being part of community and success for almost a decade! Lovely to read your comments around connections. I will pass your comments on re: lack of career advancement. Speaking from personal experience, and 4 great roles in just over 5 years, I have found career pathways exciting and meandering. I'd be very surprised if you've voiced your desire to grow with your manager/leader that they wouldn't be doing everything within their influence to provide opportunities to you. I hope that's the case.
