Pros

The benefits are good, health care, share save and pensions. It is a company that appreciates and rewards results. As with all corporates it is undergoing constant change and improvement.

Cons

A bit of an email and meetings for meetings sake culture.

Pros

-Private insurance. -Free coffee -Vacation flexibility -You choose your start date.

Cons

On getting hired -They make you pee in a cup. -The tests have nothing to do with the everyday functions of the job. -Long process, they request letters from previous 5 companies you worked for. Job -There's no communication between management in the US and in Costa Rica. -There's no stablished training... you can start whenever, do shadowing and then go to training or the other way around. -Each brand they handle is different so training is useless. -It's not marketing, it's just making corrections on HTML code... there's no structure, if your senior peer does it in a certain way, that's the norm, you can't be creative or practical. -For Hyatt hotels each mailing takes around 1 hour and a half, usually you have to correct 13... do the math. -If for some reason you can't work extra hours it's pointed as lack of commitment, if you work extra hours without previous authorization you don't get paid for that time. -Your supervisor won't even realize you are there on your first day but once your accounts are assigned be ready for micromanagement like never before... in the US, team leads in Costa Rica don't even know what's going on. -Career opportunities are minimum since most employees just get promoted to seniors and there's no other way to go. Employees in the US have more chances since that's where management is. -Their expectations are never ever met. Site -No transportation offered eventhough the site is very far away. -No cafeteria service, just tables and microwaves and you must bring your own fork.
