Pros

no problems with pay roll

Cons

client gives them a contract but they are too stingy to give a decent hourly rate to the contractor and the client expects the contractor to work for the worth they gave to the Experis budget. they have healthcare packages but too expensive and better off getting your own don't really help you to get raises, promotion, or remedy any issues you might be facing recruiter is too pushy to get you to accept so that they can make money. will try to convince you as to why you're worth below the hourly rate you're asking for

Pros

Flexibility is nice at this organization. Although it does somewhat depend on your manager.

Cons

Lots of changes and position eliminations due to current president set on making his numbers. If one is billing, chances of staying employed are better than a non-billing position.

Pros

-Taking a chance on me when I finished school. -Work life balance pretty good. -corporate world experience -commission plus base cool...but please read the con for the string attached

Cons

-Training took 2 weeks (not a hard job) but manager claims it's a 5 year process.... So no 25¢ raise even 8 months in. ( he really said this) -Also commission should go up that's how it works well in this branch, manger gives you the newest accounts even telling me it's an up hill battle.... So ok wait not only no raise but -No growth in commission or pay regardless of growth is job responsibilities. - I was 10 months in the job and I was assigned to train the new girl. 5 others who had been there for 5+ years didn't, the team didn't and the manager didn't. And still no bump in pay. new girl is smart and said this is fishy and already wants to leave because the manager is sketchy. -as a young employee with older staff members I didn't have a lot to talk about. I don't have kids or I don't get certain references to the 80s jokes that's fine but because I don't talk. The other employees started talking behind my back and I actually saw an email they said this to the new hire. "Isn't he argent and an spoiled brat?"( I talked about how my parents let me use their car for work) - and boss encouraged the talks I mean come on HR!!!! -You then find out that older staff gets all the easy payoff jobs you get 1-2 here and there to "balance it out"....Not even. Ok well you work hard prove that the 1-2 bones you can kick but and fill them. Well now you solely do new accounts.....good luck. -Management puts little to no effort into retaining, motivating, new younger staff. Primarily supported older team (of 5) - When you do leave, manager doesn't in trouble because he gave you bad accounts to make your numbers look like it's your fault ! -Boss asked me take on a bad contract to save his older staff's numbers and I did it because I was trying to prove myself but it did not pan out well. - when giving my Two Weeks notice, my boss was furious and called me names, questioned my loyalty and work ethic and called me a lot of names.... I Didn't have to give a two weeks but I did because it was the right thing to do but man that was rough.
