      Test Associate: not the worst for the game industry

      Pros

      - Not the worst wage rate, and you do get raise - Benefit exists - Coworkers are mostly friendly and helpful - Simple work does not eat into personal time - There can be lot of OT but it is not mandatory (technically) - A decent break room with coffee, tea and many other options - Free bus pass

      Cons

      - Not a sustainable wage or benefit in a long run - No upward mobility. No career advancement. - Frequent job change depending on development cycle. Laying-off happens often. - Little to no communication from the management, or between the teams within the company. Transparency issue.

      The people on my team were amazing to work with and were open to answering the questions I needed answer

      Pretty much everything about the upper level management is bad They don't care about training They don't value employee's they only value money coming into the company They play favorites

      Flexible work schedule but still it isn't worth the stress. Trust me - it's bad.
