Pros

The local office was a great crew to work with. And the base salary was competitive. Most employees were very willing to help with questions.

Cons

I was brought on board under the guise of "working existing accounts." When I got there, I was given a list of 30 "dead accounts" that needed serious attention to bring to life. The real difference Experis gives that differentiates them from the competition is "project solutions." I was not able to find a competitor that didn't have something similar. To make it worse, this "huge" differentiator was responsible for less than 5% of the business locally. This industry is cutthroat and extremely difficult to gain a foothold in. Prepare for countless hours of cold calling and explaining what Experis is (name brand recognition is close to zero).

Pros

Diversified portfolio with international presence.

Cons

Management is joke and knows nothing about staffing. Management spends more time behind closed door on conference calls than actually running the business. Decisions are made solely on the best interest of Experis with no consideration for the client. Hostile environment is tolerated. Depends too much on 3rd Parties to find candidates than actually recruiting themselves. Only one recruiter can work a job at a time even if multiple recruiters have qualified candidates. Too transactional. Quantity is valued over quality. Recruiters are not held accountable. Limited funding for client entertainment. Grew too big too fast following the acquisition of Comsys by Manpower.

Pros

I have one Account Manager that actually cared about me. Then, they left the company and I felt forgotten :(

Cons

When my Account Manager left the company, my new Account Manager never took the time to introduce themselves to me. They had no problem making meetings with the client, just not me. The benefits are weak.
