Pros

The museum itself is very nice, welcoming, innovative, clean, and safe. I had to sell stuff in my role, and truly believed in what I was selling. I also found my coworkers to be likable, and was happy to have met them.

Cons

I came to the Exploratorium as a new grad looking for a place I could grow in, and then there's a protest being filmed by the local news about (another) massive layoff. My department more-or-less collapsed, and everyone in it was left looking for new jobs. It's hard to believe in the museum's mission when they can't even hold their employees together.

- Management is incapable of managing staff - Improper resources given to achieve goals - People in high titles are there because they have stuck around for years - Staff are hostile to one another - Lack of decision making from management
