      Pros

      Great coworkers and VERY interesting projects. Employees are generally well stocked with the tools required.

      Cons

      There is a "survival of the fittest" mentality, which makes for some toxic environments. There is a lot of variability between employees regarding opportunities for advancement.

      1. Every consultant at the firm is brilliant.

      Cons

      1. Pay is not graded based on location 2. Nations top Ph.D's easily mired in rank and file engineer work and often technician work - career killer. 3. Pay is not commiserate with the prior achievements of employees, motivation is based on the promise of making principle many years down the road. 4. Huge turnover rate and getting bigger!

      Pros

      Extremely flexible schedule (except when it's not due to client expectations). Salary at higher levels can be good with a relatively low-level risk. Getting compensated for overtime is nice.

      Cons

      Depending on your manager and the expectations of the client, you may have "surprise" commitments that pop up at the last minute that take over your evening. Salary at the lower levels is below market rate.
