Pros

If you are none the wiser, this is perfect for you. Folding enthusiast? look no further.

Cons

There’s Managers who sit in the office eating and walk the floor strolling instagram and then there’s you, who is not allowed these luxuries. Get back to refolding folded clothes plebeian! Welcome to the Express hierarchy and hypocrisy. This company has a major issue with LP. You’ll think that after all the Sensors on the clothing, bag checks, cameras in every nook of the store, and walkie talkies that are used to communicate every customers location would help but it obviously doesn’t. So much so that when interviewing for a postion , LP is one of the leading subjects while nodding to their statistics that most LP problems are internal ( yes, you the employee) This renders a very toxic work environment. It does rewards you in $500 if your anonymous tips lead to an employee being caught for thief. You’ll be expected to memorized strink numbers etc. Even if your job doesn’t call for it. I guess this gives the illusion of tackling things such as LP. Your pay would be $11.00, so the pay isn’t great but awesome for student a High School. You’ll find a lot of weird policies such as only being allowed to wear express jeans. I don’t think a company that charges $79.90 for jeans actually understands the hefty price tag of 47.94 without tax to their employees that are probably only working 2-3 times a week for 6hrs shifts at the rate of $11.00 with a perk of 40% off. The Call Out policy was probably made with the same inspiration as the Jean policy. Dense and out of touch. Basically, if you call out more than once then a doctor note is required of you to return. Have a joyous time scheduling yourself in for an appointment for cramps or a 24hr flu when all you probably need is rest. Policies such as these are put in place to try to hinder employees to utilize their sick time (which is paid and 40hrs) Others than what’s above, there’s just a lot of standing and refolding folded clothes.
