-All your manager will want is for you to get Express Next sign ups. Doesn't matter if you do your best at every other aspect of the job. Don't get nexts? You'll be written up. Oh, and you don't even receive compensation for getting customers to sign up. The only person Express Next benefits is your manager. - Minimum wage pay even though you're on your feet for hours cleaning up mess after mess - A good amount of customers are rude. Most of them have a holier-than-thou attitude and demand of you rather than ask. - They give you a 40 percent discount for their expensive, cheaply made clothing. Most items in the store are around 60 dollars, making it about 40 or more with taxes. That's still quite a lot of money to be spending with a minimum wage pay. - If you want to wear jeans to work, be prepared to spend 58 dollars on Express brand jeans so you can become their walking advertisement.
