after 12 years with the company, I could no longer deal with the horrible changes management was making. they let customer service reps (PCAs) walk all over you with no recourse. I attempted to advise management how the changes they were making made the job 100x worse for us and they couldn't care less. they are extremely short-sighted . there is no job satisfaction any longer. you get yelled at by patients and employees alike and they no longer let you even take charge of the patient's concerns and follow through to resolution. when we were "express scripts" we were truly Pharmacy Technicians and had the ability to call doctors to get prescriptions, enter Prior Authrizations, etc. now we are "Pharmacy Technicians" in name alone. If you have a desire to help patients get medications they need and use a license you studied hard to obtain, this is not the job for you.
