Pros
Sticking to the same principles despite extrenal pressures to discard programs that celebrate diversity. Values and rewards top performers. I get to feel like my work is valuable and I never get bored.
Cons
There's no compelling reason for the return to office mandate. Collaboration is still occurring entirely in virtual meetings in my team because the talent is scattered literally across the world. At a point it becomes hard to advance without being a people leader; some people are excellent and deserve advancement but are not suited to high levels of leadership
