Pros

Professional, business focused company that has found the unique balance between work and home life. Many company's say that people are their greatest asset, but ESS really believes it. I have not been happier here than any job I have had in the last 15 years.

Cons

It's hard to find a definitive con. All jobs have things that aren't perhaps ideal or maybe aren't personally beneficial to one person, but ESS does much better than others in mitigating these factors and trying to be as fair as possible. If anything ESS works very hard to try and improve itself and with innovation comes some things that work and some that don't. That process can create some processes that take time to grow to stability. It's hard to really complain about that because as ESS innovates they are smart enough to try new things and smart enough to change things when they don't work.

I have been with Extra Space for seven years now. I started as an Assistant Manager and worked my way up to District Manager throughout that time. This is only the 2nd company that I have worked for that I truly love and enjoy. The culture, growth opportunities, and experiences are top notch. I have grown so much as a leader throughout my seven years here. If you want work/life balance, growth opportunities, great culture, and above average compensation, look no further. There are not many companies out there that fit this description and I am blessed to be working for such a great company.
