Pros

Sales Bonuses, free pizza, candy, coffee, pop, nice co-workers, good technology, the customer's are great! If you can turn your brain off at the door, keep your mouth shut and smile, do everything they tell you to do, you'll be fine.

Cons

Very limited career advancement opportunities, sales bonus matrix is skewed in the companies favor, the stretch goal is extremely difficult to achieve because so many factors are out of your control. Bonuses are taxed at 40% to make matters worse. Very small annual increases, the work is monotonous, TL's micromanage everything, and cross the line into your private life, terrible communication, I hear more info from peers than from managers. TL's like to keep you in the dark about stuff, favoritism, you must be positive at all times, pointing out anything wrong, or will be misconstrued as "negative" and will get you fired.

Pros

Advancement opportunities are available for those who work hard and stand out above the rest. You can quickly advance through the company. Majority of District managers are fair and understanding but expect you to give 110%. Compensation is fair especially if provided with an apartment. The day to day operations of the store can be hard work and very stressful but rewarding when goals are met and advancements are made.

Cons

Work every Saturday, there has to be an opening before you can advance and some employees get restless waiting for their opportunity.

Pros

Covered parking area, working by yourself sometimes. Getting a day off during the week to apply to and interview for better career opportunities. Monthly incentive bonus, its not much but it's something.

Cons

Error prone software, everything you do is scrutinized, we have meetings and they tell you it's ok to do something, but a month later you have to explain why you did the thing they told you it was ok to do. Inept lazy site managers. Pay is pretty crummy considering , I am cutting locks, being a janitor, selling merchandise, renting storage units, making delinquency calls, making unnecessary follow up rental calls, calling/harassing reservations and leads 5 times in 3 days. The incentive bonus.... The sites where the manager lives on site don't pay for rent, electricity, heat or water, but get 35% off the top of the monthly incentives. Only 4 paid holidays, they whine if god forbid some reservation shows up 5 minutes to close on a holiday, and the person than proceeds to make 2 more additional reservations and you have to show them all the units until they finally decide on the unit they want, and by 6:45 pm on memorial day you finally get to leave, but have to explain why you were there 45 minutes past closing time.
