Worked for Extra Space Storage for 8 years, after they bought the storage company I worked for at that time. The difference in companies was unbelievable. Extra Space appreciates their employees far more than any other company I ever worked for. Extra Space respects their employees, their employees ideas and treats everyone with dignity from their employees at every level to their customers. When market rates in the area increase, Extra Space increases rates or gives bonuses. Really too many great reasons to work for Extra Space Storage to list including a hefty uniform and shoe allowance, always improving benefits, working with employee scheduling, tons of opportunities for development and growth, etc. There are Vice Presidents for the company that started as Assistant Store Managers so employee development and growth is very real!
