      Decent Leadership, Decent PTO and benefits, Stable Hours

      Cons

      Expect to work above and beyond, and potentially at all hours. Customers, no matter how nice or 'together' will drain you emotionally.

      Pros

      Too many to count! I am a manager in the Bensalem area and I can't imagine working anywhere else. Management really cares about their employees. They have grown a lot in the last few years but still manage to feel like a small company that treats us like family. There are many opportunities for growing your career and my DM is always willing to help us be the best we can be. I highly recommend Extra Space, especially in the greater Philadelphia area, to anyone who wants to grow with a company who appreciates them.

      Pros

      Flexible scheduling, no one breathing down your neck all day, self motivating, challenging (in a good way), and changing environments

      Cons

      No overtime, short lunch breaks, low pay for assistant managers, LOTS of manual labor, at the mercy of your district manager (meaning, if you don't have a good one like I do, your working life could be miserable)
