Culture is good if you’re on the right team.

Cons

Sitting for hours a day without the option to use the restroom freely. Have to have ETO to leave for an emergency. Commission sucks!!!! The system is set up by AI to send likely to sell calls to top performers so nobody else can catch up.

Work-life balance exists here at EXR. Management and leadership care about you, and the company culture is truly invaluable. If you work hard and show up, they reward you tenfold, and I've seen and experienced it firsthand. I plan on staying here for many years to come if the company continues to go the way it has been. I'm thankful for this company and all it stands for!

Cons

Management allows toxic/negative employees to stay at the company for far too long, even after hearing about complaints from coworkers/employees and seeing the issues firsthand. Our culture exists because of the great people we have. Let people find out that the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

I have worked for Extra Space for a few years and am continually impressed as time goes on. It's a growing company in a stable industry that has an amazing people focused culture. The values run deep and are actually cared about. I'm not sure what else you could really ask for! I feel I can go to almost anyone across the company and they would be more than happy to help me. I am supported, valued, and have opportunities to grow. I can see myself here for a very long time.

No major cons outside small tweaks any business tries to make.
