Hyper oriented to employee care; fabulous communication; agile and innovative; the least political environment I've ever worked in; meritocracy

Cons

with all the companies merged in the past couple of years it is a little crazy sometimes; a little less flexible about expense policies than others (e.g. - long distance travel, home internet and cell phone policies are to rigid)

The corporate culture at Extreme is what really stands out to me. They really empower you to do your job. The transparency within the company is actually there, not just words. Ed (our CEO) actually leads by example, not a do as I say, not as I do type of leader. Notice that I said leader, not boss. Everyone in the organization is a leader, no matter where you are on the org chart.

Cons

The work/life balance is pretty good, but I would like to see more vacation/personal days to make that balance a bit better.
