Pros

a small office with serious management issues that can really toughen and train you to become a politician

Cons

management typically doesn't listen, or even when they pretend they do. it goes way back to their native culture that hasn't got any better over the few hundred years. their English standards are poor and can't really comprehend local culture. the whole world knows Korean seriously overworked, and they kind of expect you to do the same. they can even work on holidays and weekends. (literally selling their soul to the company) endless meetings that doesn't yield any conclusion, complete waste of time to spend few days drafting a presentation slides, and hold discussions for few hours and cannot come to an agreement (or usually end up with what the boss wants) not liberal or democratic environment. over time, you will just learn to nod your head and steer with the boss' direction.

Pros

I met some very bright minds. The work isn't too physically demanding and you'll become smarter from teaching. The pay was alright, but I was really earning every penny.

Cons

Unbearable management. Management had me doing the work of 2+ people and wanted me to do even more. Management didn't hire new people for months, even though management said they would. Eventually I got tired of being overworked and quit. We were definitely understaffed and undertrained. My former coworker was getting headaches daily. Management had to hire at least two or more people to replace me. No break time for snacks made eating a large meal before work a must. High turnover rate. I found out why myself firsthand.
