Pros

+ Work-life balance is great + Colleages generally great + Amenities at office are okay + Nice benefit for buying gadgets + Health care, pension contributions, etc. are good enough + Line management generally does a good job

Cons

- Irish office remains a satellite office, decision-making centralized in the States - Has had two major layoff rounds in a single year, moving towards becoming a "regular layoff" company - Economic outlook not great - Who gets laid off is decided based on politics, not on performance - Career growth potential is severely limited, especially outside the US - Belief in the C-suite is probably at an all-time low company-wide.

Pros

i. Formerly an excellent company to work for, attributed to its human-centric policies ii. Retreats focused on well-being. iii. Comprehensive health coverage for the entire family. iv. Complimentary fruits, snacks, and meals. v. Exceptional learning opportunities in network security domains

Cons

Recently, some middle-level managers' involvement in office politics and favoritism has notably dampened engineers' morale, particularly regarding recognition. A few middle-level managers have formed alliances, recognizing each other to get into the limelight, misusing the recognition policy, and not acknowledging the actual contributions of engineers who accomplished the job. but discernible recognition pattern makes this evident upon examination. They also play a "Divide and Conquer" strategy, giving recognition or preference to their inner circle while neglecting those who challenge them. Conversely, they tend to hold those they personally dislike accountable for any failures.

Pros

They provide a decent severance package when you are laid off.

Cons

The company is in a state of transition right now with acquisitions, pivoting away from hardware, and releasing new products/services. There can be a lot of politicking and jobs are unstable. They have been doing multiple rounds of layoffs.
