Product Management Engineer at F5 Networks
Pros
Very flexible hours. Very hands-off management. Great company benefits, and a couple employee recognition programs that are second to none. Annual company sponsored vacation for 50 employees to tropical location. Selection is based on one of the employee recognition programs I mention above. Good salary, aimed at retention. Actively avoids laying off staff when product lines are cut. Recently this meant repurposing the roles of the better part of an entire remote office, but repurpose them they did, and I'm not aware of any large-scale layoffs (or any at all, for that matter).
Cons
All those benefits occasionally require some long hours (depending on position, of course). Currently migrating towards a more "efficient" cubicle system, which really means that sizes of the cubes are smaller than what has been used so far. Not much else to complain about; F5 has it's act together and a lot of emphasis is placed on employee satisfaction.
