      Pros

      The environment is very relaxed for the IT tepartment. The IT Operations Team is very tight-knit. Projects are coordinated and then handed out, but the team is small enough that your voice is very clearly heard when doing architecture work.

      Cons

      There isn't a lot of room to move up in the company. Historically, they're not great at career development for employees; you're left to your own devices there.

      Pros

      Strong products, good training, smart people, good pay and benefits, senior management seems to know what they are doing, fairly easy to move between jobs within the company. Oh, and it is based in Seattle. If you do not mind a bit of rain, this is one of the best places in the world to live.

      Cons

      Well, in the end, it is still a job. You do have to show up and get the job done..

      F5 is an awesome place to work. It's the leader in it's market (ADC) and now expanding into other markets.

      Pros

      Leader in ADC market with a clear vision of expansion into other markets (security, firewall, cloud). There is still a startup mood at F5. Good salary, great people at work. Good medical insurance + flex-plan + ESPP.

      Cons

      San Jose office is boring. Seattle is better. Tel Aviv office is good. Tomsk office is the best. There is no culture at F5. No hackathons, no beer parties, no pet projects. Bad communication between different teams. Micromanagement. Lots of hiring recently which bloated once a small company. Some junk hires.
