      Pros

      Amazing group of very smart people. Good engineering / management configuration where everyone shares the load, and knowledge sharing is the norm.

      Cons

      All Network Support Engineers must work at the downtown office. No work from home allowed. Pay is competitive, but on the low side for the cost of living in Seattle.

      Pros

      F5 takes good care of its employees. Our benefits package is absolutely stellar (better than Microsoft's has ever been, especially our health insurance). Pay is comparable to other tech companies in the area. The company culture is healthy, and the employees are all wonderful people. I'm approaching my 5 year anniversary at the company, and I'm very happy here.

      Cons

      My team specifically has had some management woes (several people in our management chain retired or left to work for non-profits in the span of 3 months) which were largely beyond the companies control, but we recently got things back in order and I'm happy with my team's new management.

      Pros

      Great product, but complicated, steep learning curve. They get it that they need to diversify by adding new products, acquisitions.

      Cons

      Leadership was workaholic, not interested in any work/life balance. Quarterly beatings of non-performers in front of your peers. High stress.
