      Great company but trouble seems afoot

      Pros

      Great benefits, work life style balance seems up to par. Beer Fridays.

      Cons

      Conservative on budget. Seems only to care about shareholders as of late. Has tons of cash. Sees only the bottom line. Employees and managers are soloed from other groups. Mrs lack leadership training.

      f5 isn't what it used t be

      Pros

      f5 was built on fantastic technology and a great culture by hard working, very smart creative people. The sales organization was a self-starter, entrepreneurial, sales and prospecting focused atmosphere. f5 has generous compensation and benefit packages. The campus is beautiful with amazing waterfront views.

      Cons

      The culture has eroded over the past couple of years. The turnover rate has been disruptive and costly, especially at the executive and senior management level. Career advancement is difficult in the sales department if you are not willing to move from the Seattle area.

      Pros

      Two things I walked away with: Some of the most amazing technology on the market and some of the most incredibly intelligent people I have ever worked with throughout my career.

      Cons

      The management struggled supporting Service Providers properly and the middle management teams were a lacked in experience, knowledge and people skills.
