Pros

-Takes the right fit: long story short, I interviewed for a position I was less keen on and I said as much. Eventually, I was brought in for one I was more keen on. -Opportunities within: they say this all the time and I've seen it with people moving to other positions. -Flexible: depends on your particular position and probably your manager, but we're on a hybrid and that really helps with work-life balance. If you need to wfh for a particular reason one day, I am always allowed to do so. -Collaborative: a team environment is definitely fostered between colleagues and teams. I've also never worked somewhere that sales and marketing are so collaborative with one another. -Common ground in travel: everyone here loves travel so it's really cool to be around like minded people. -Freedom for creativity: this might be more specific for my position in marketing, but I really love how I can come up with ideas, present my case as to why I think it's a good move, and I'm allowed to experiment. In my experience, a lot of orgs have been really resistant to new ideas/perspectives and this one is not. -Management: I can only speak for myself, but I get along great with my manager, they're so knowledgeable, and I feel I can learn so much from them. Also, all upper management knows who I am and acknowledges me. -Acknowledgements: we have awards that are teammate nominated both on our teams, nationally, and globally. -National Ball: basically, we travel to a location for a party where our hard work is recognized. It's a nice additional perk.

Cons

-Diversity: I will note that it's not as diverse, however, that's something that the company openly acknowledges and is working to fix. We have a recently hired DEI manager and they're really making their mark in a good way. -Holidays: the company holiday calendar is VERY underwhelming. No Black Friday off (most people are traveling for Thanksgiving). I'd really appreciate having a paid day of service for MLK Day. And it would speak volumes if we had Juneteenth as a holiday.
