      The company is able to fire you during the trial period before ending on the very same day giving you the notice. Thus it's a legally applicable measure in both ways due to worst-case scenarios, for example being sexually harassed at work. The procedure is to fire you unnoticed on purpose. This is due to a legal enforcement measure they have ongoing right now. This security measure was enforced because of a bad experience from one of their former employees.
