-Lack of good management -Long work hours (12 to 18+) -Getting Ordered to work frequently -Sometimes only 6 hours off btwn shifts -High stress environment -Must be able to multitask -Increasing daily responsibilities -Increasing yearly workload -24/7 operation without many accommodations -Emotionally demanding -Potential for vicarious trauma -No promotional test to firefighter or other advancement outside of dispatch
