Each department is run differently, so I can only speak to my department. I really enjoyed many of my co-workers and indeed they are the reason I stayed so long. Some of them are very talented and hard working.

Cons

The company is still run by a family. FEI has outgrown it's mom and pop size without becoming a professionally run organization. Nepotism runs strong and referent power often pushes out expert judgement or hard data.
