Pros

The work is really interesting if you like global public health and FHI has a high standard of quality. When talking to anyone else in the same field, I always hear compliments about the quality of FHI's work. The organization also allows for a very flexible work schedule.

Cons

Like many industries out there right now, funding for jobs is not always stable. Job instability has created challenges in the work environment and at time a rather negative work environment given the stress levels of employees. Things have improved, but there's certainly still no guarantee of plentiful funding or long-term stability.
