Pros

Good culture, everyone is helpful. Work-life balance is good as well. Work from home, you have to go to the office once in a while though (1/month MAX). A ton of resources available to learn the job. Your career is supported, they'll even pay CFA/Bar Exam fees and other things of that nature. Good benefits, good pay.

Cons

Extremely high learning curve. Typically, I catch on pretty quickly at most jobs, however, it took about 8 months in the examiner role to even begin to start feeling comfortable. Work can be combative as well, not a ton of fun telling firms that they're getting cited or need to do things better. Work can be boring; compliance is not too exciting.
