Pros
Your check is Direct Deposit. You learn what NOT to do with pre-paid gift cards. You learn why having an account at a real bank is important. You can read and surf the internet between calls.
Cons
You will get cussed out, almost every phone call, for things beyond your control. The banks will make sudden changes to the pre-paid card program that is designed to anger the customer. The website doesn't work half the time, so when the caller has to call to find out the balance, the customer is charged $3.95 for the phone call. Each week you will noticed the daily schedule fluctuates. Monday 3pm Tuesday 11am Wednesday 4pm - you are not allowed to write down your schedule, email it to yourself, access your schedule from home (and if you carry a cell phone into your workstation, prepare to be fired instantly) . To make matters worse, you are required to sign up for 10 hours of overtime each week. 8/10 times your overtime request is denied. If you haven't gotten approved for 10 hours before Friday 5pm, they will put you anywhere at anytime. For example, you clocked out at 11:45pm tonight. You have to come back at 4am tomorrow and work 2 hours, then come back later at 11am and work 2 hours, then your shift tomorrow starts at 3pm. Here is the fun part: You have 2 minutes and 15 seconds PER CALL to get the customer's 16 digit card number, name, address, phone number, last 4 of social security number and Date of birth AND solve their issue (why they are calling) and get everything documented correctly.
