Pros

Free cofee, nice building, free parking, no weekends.

Cons

This company does not give raises. You maybe lucky to get one in a five year period and when you do its insulting. They mismanage funds so nothing goes towards employees. They dont train you and place you into your position immediately after your introduced to your responsibilities. No manager has an actual management back ground. People are promoting rarely and when they are its because they have begged for a promotion for years. Health insurance is paid out of pocket for 80% of the bill. Plan on being in collections and making payments for the rest of your career. Always understaffed and forced to work harder even though they loose staff constantly.

Pros

At the annual picnic, if allowed to go, their was a dunk tank with management in it for 20 minutes. Affiliation with certain religious organizations that managers frequent have more pull than actual job performance.

Cons

You position is too baby sit poorly written software with no real test environments to against. Management uses developers as scapegoats for all of their failings. The result is a resolving door of developers. The bad ones stay and goods one run. Expect to work long hours and be rewarded no raises, formal demerits, and knifes in various organs in order to shield management from accountability. All new projects go to India (they also are used as scapegoats by management). Project Management Office is focused on self preservation at the expense of their projects, staff, and overall company. More managers than developers.
