      A hectic place that is cheap and lacks forward thinking in middle management.

      Pros

      Worked around school schedule and family obligations. High standards even though the pay does not always match that. Really have nothing better to say.

      Cons

      Cheap and lacks innovative thought process. Was a drery place to work on a daily basis where most people do not seem happy. Did I forget to mention they are cheap.

      Friendly coworkers , very large corporation with many, opportunities to work overseas. Excellent office space. Many opportunities to work remote from almost anywhere

      Cons

      As a. Former SunGard employee, he transition to FIS has been a great disappointment. FIS us is cheap, it does not value experience or expertise. Limited opportunity training, ridiculous tuition reimbursement, very stressful, convoluted management

Any time we have an acquisition, we carefully and thoughtfully integrate new employees into FIS, which can take some time. This includes migrating systems, benefits, etc. to account for the combined workforce. Programs and benefits are reviewed often and designed for a workforce 53,000 strong as a combined organization.
