Pros

They pay their paychecks on time and have office locations globally.

Cons

-Poor leadership -Boys club mentality (Gary Norcross) -Old world methodology -legacy systems yet preach they are innovators -Pinch dollars tighter than a homeless person -No youth to their culture unless you enjoy senior citizens -Driven by compliance and bureaucracy (takes 20 phone calls to 10 e-mails to get something done) -Nobody actually cares for the company and its objectives -FIS only way of making money is through mergers and acquisitions. They have no unique IP or thought leadership amongst their ranks -Gary Norcross is a horrible CEO -Executive team are mindless and only there for the paycheck -They destroy the culture of any company they acquire -Everything is micromanaged including your mobile device and trust in their employees is non-existent -Everyone looks morbid in the cubical life -Huge business lines which carry millions in inefficient costs -Its the titanic of corporate companies and cannot steer away from the floating iceburg

Pros

If you want to grow your Cisco skills in r&s, voice, datacenter or security then this is a great place to build your resume. They are a managed IT environment and your design skills grow too

Cons

Fast pace and heavy work load. You can almost call it a sweat shop. Project management lacks and in some areas require you to manage the project on your own. Be careful of mistakes as coworkers tend to point fingers rather than work as a team

Pros

Only positive thing at FIS are the people that have survived all the Reorganization from poorly managed infrastructure. When FIS purchased EFunds, then Metevante, they left a strong ignorance in place starting with VP's/Directors/and management leaders. Many were displaced, and the strength of the company, was the people who survived.

Cons

Executive leaders are still thinking because they are the biggest, that the best will follow. Even after removing the ignorance in leadership, there is still no one there that can clearly state the vision and direction the company will take. Sorry Frank, you should have retired...
