Pros

Benefits were okay but reduced in 2021 due to Covid. My coworkers were my favorite part of the job as they truly cared and wanted to do their best with what we had.

Cons

I’ve never encountered a company this dysfunctional. Multiple acquisitions have created an environment where to many toes are being stepped on and efforts to support and improve the customer experience became laughable. Too many small businesses are being taken advantage of and I brought these unethical sales practices to HR and received no response. Management had no clue how to improve basic customer service experiences for customers and threw sales reps under the bus when escalations occurred. I never had the correct tools to do my job so customer accounts couldn’t be managed effectively. I spent my days being accosted and harassed by customers and attorneys to the point where I couldn’t take it anymore. Over my two years tenure the 20 people I worked with left the company or took other positions and Unfortunately I had a manager who barley handled escalations and left us on our own. With these issues and the amount of layoffs occurring now I would not recommend this company to anyone

We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review. We are glad to hear that you appreciate the people at FIS. Our employees are our strongest asset and we want them to know that their concerns are always heard which is why we deploy colleague voice surveys for employees to address their concerns. Managers at all levels can view comments and results in aggregate so they are aware of improvements needed. Also, though you posted anonymously, we shared your feedback with our U.S. people partner team in the hope that they can be of assistance. Since you identified yourself as a current colleague, we also encourage you to report any of your stated concerns through your manager, a member of the People Office, or the FIS Ethics Hotline.

Lacking in Career Development and Leadership

Pros

Benefits and Company 401K match

Cons

* The leadership from mid level management up to the C-suite is unavailable and completing unacceptable to build a high performing culture. *Tuition assistance is only an option if its planned for during the fiscal planning. *Merit increases are embarrassing, while managers, directors and executives receive the fruit of the employees efforts (bonuses). * Empowerment of women is extremely low. *Career development is not something widely emphasized or encouraged as the companies site claims, You are left to your own devices, such as seeking out such avenues or having a resource internally that understands how to provide direction. * The company is very segregated and there is a huge push to offshore many jobs.

Hidden Racism still exists

Pros

Benefits and vacation policy are great. Some employees and leadership members are as well.

Cons

Pay is not at the same level as other companies for roles. This company has a diversity team and at times, it seems as though they're being diverse. However, there is a lot of favoritism and hidden racism. The executive leadership needs to take a closer look at what's going on within the company on a daily basis and make more I&D changes. People are being hired because of who they know instead of what they know. It's like a club and if you're not playing the role to be in their club, it's hard to grow with this company. A lot of pretending and out right lying is done when people want to for friends and family over an actual qualified candidate. The ethics are out the door when it applies to certain people and departments.
