Pros

You get paid to do almost nothing because its so difficult to get anything done.

Cons

Poor compensation & merit increases. No Bonuses unless you are upper management. Horrible employee retention. Unbelievable amount of red tape to get anything done Not challenging work Management doesn't seem to listen to employee concerns. So many employees that there is a team for everything. This means your scope of work is extremely limited and you must wait for several other teams to get anything done.

Pros

The workers at FIS are very loyal to their group. If you find a good manager and a good group, then FIS is a great place to work because they will give you the support you need. Work life is pretty good.

Cons

FIS needs to practices what it preaches. We were constantly given training in diversity yet upper management is the least diverse area of the company! The company is nearly 50% people from India yet no upper management that's India, Asian or Black. A rising star from India is given a lesser role, even though he built major parts of the company. Yeah, they hire the token black lady for a BS diversity role, but she doesn't do anything important in the company. Bottom line they only care about money and promoting upper class white elites to top positions. You can bank on that.

Pros

The people in individual teams can work well with each other New female president may be able to change the problems, of which there are many

Cons

Teams across the company cannot interact well It is all about the stockholders - bonuses were long ago discarded and salaries have been frozen while billion dollar buildings get built You are a number and you are expendable Flip-flopping in upper management causes indecision as to WFH potential
